Meet the Owner
Shelby
Shelby became interested in training with her first dog, Kali, a rescue papillon/chihuahua who she taught to do everything from sport scent work to ride atop kayaks on the water. She then went on to work with Police K9's in West Virginia and helped dogs along their journey from puppyhood to being certified on various narcotics. Her interests vary from trick dog training, to agility, to sport scent work, and behavior modification. With her current two current dogs Kyber and Lyra she is working towards competing at higher levels in a protection sport called PSA.
The Demo Dogs
Kyber
This malinois has earned her PDC, CGC, and AKC TKN. She was born in 2019 and has been at Shelby’s side ever since. She LOVES kids and has been known to disrupt group classes in order to get belly scratches from children. She is the main demo dog here at Saber k9 and loves helping families achieve their goals with their dogs.
Lyra
Meet the newest member of Saber K9, Lyra. She is a young Belgian Malinois who is learning to be our next demo dog alongside her big sister Kyber. She also has big dreams of competing in a sport called PSA and bringing home all the trophies!
